Our Story

CorpDev.Ai is AI-native, founded by operators who have spent their careers in M&A — building the software, running the processes, and closing the deals. We know firsthand that corporate development teams are still buried in manual research, slow-moving analysis, and consultant reports that arrive after the window has closed.

We started CorpDev.Ai to change that. Not to replace the judgment, relationships, and strategic instincts that make great dealmakers valuable — but to give them an unfair advantage. Our AI Analyst delivers market maps, investment memos, target lists, and company profiles in minutes, not weeks.

We operate like an AI-native organization — one founder in Boston, one in San Francisco, a handful of collaborators across the globe, and a fleet of AI agents that make up the core of our workforce. They research markets, analyze companies, and write code around the clock. We provide the vision, architecture, and human touch. The agents do the rest and self-improve every day.

Kal Kilpi

Two-time M&A software founder and hands-on engineer. Previously founded Vastuu Group (acquired), and co-founded M&A SaaS platform Midaxo. Kal has designed M&A systems for clients like McKinsey, Verizon, HPE, Mercedes-Benz, and Philips.

At CorpDev.Ai, he's rebuilding that playbook from scratch for the AI era — building the product and orchestrating a fleet of AI agents alongside a small human team.

Atul Tiwary

M&A operator and investor with 20+ years closing deals on every side of the table. Most recently VP M&A at Barracuda Networks under Thoma Bravo, through the company's acquisition by KKR. Previously VP Investment Banking at RBC, Sr Director Corporate Development at Fortinet, and Managing Director at Centaur Partners.

In addition to building CorpDev.Ai, Atul is a Partner at El Dorado Capital.
